Blue Path Acupuncture has been extremely careful with Covid 19 precautions:

  • If a patient has been on an airplane, they are asked to wait 2 weeks before coming in for acupuncture (or wait 5 days from exposure date & then get a Covid test).
  • Upon entry, each patient is required to wash hands and get their temperature checked
  • Every room has an air filter and windows are left open.
  • Masks are required at all times by the acupuncturist and patient
  • Dr Lam has reduced the amount of patients seen to allow for extra time between patients, and to ensure that no persons run into each other in the waiting room.
  • There are 3 rotating treatment rooms, each w/hepa air filters. Often the last person in the room was 2 hrs previous to your appt.
  • Common areas (door knobs, bathroom) are wiped down after EVERY single use.
  • Cleaning products are Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-approved cleaning chemicals with label claims against the coronavirus.
  • On a personal note, Dr. Lam has taken Covid precautions seriously. She doesn’t see many of her friends, doesn’t travel, doesn’t eat at restaurants and minimizes trips to the grocery store.

She continues to see her 73 year old Father, which also adds to why she remains so strict with reducing potential exposure.
